Yola?

                                                   Hello, and welcome.
I'm currently studying Art at the University of Wyoming.  Before that I graduated with an Associates in Applied Science and was a Ford Mechanic for a few years.  After the economy went to hell and I lost my job in a rather screwed up turn of events, I was unemployed for 8 months.  The one thing that can really make you believe like you are totally worthless and have no use as a human being is to be unemployed...at least that's how I felt.  But it did give me a chance to clear my mind and think.  Think about what I've always wanted to do, but never had the guts to go and do it.  I've been broke before, I no longer fear poverty.  What was  I waiting for?
I started class in August 2010, and suddenly my outlook on life and art have begun to change.  My instructors have been amazing, and I feel like I'm excelling in my talents and knowledge.  Nothing is more rewarding then to do what you really love to do....fearlessly.  Being at the University has afforded me many intriguing opportunities.  The college has visiting professional artists from all over the world that give a lecture and show a slide show of their art.  Some are great...others, well you know...its art.
Its kind of weird being back at school again, especially from having worked in the real world.  I come back, and I'm a little older than most these geniuses which I feel has given me a new outlook and a leg up in the school experience.  I'm still young as shit though, and have lots to learn.
My first Semester is almost over and already I've had a change in skill, attitude, and emotion towards art and life in general.  Its literally been the start of what feels like enlightenment.  Maybe I'm just excited.
I will be posting all kinds of things in my adventures...
